We are thrilled to announce the addition of John Betz to the Lexell Blue consulting team.
John Betz joins Lexell Blue as a platinum subcontractor team member with over 34 years of industry experience working with government contractors. John initially started his career in public accounting at a local CPA firm where he was first introduced to Deltek products within his client base. He then went on to pursue Finance and Accounting roles and became a Deltek power-user for two high-growth government contractors in Northern, VA.
In 1998 he joined Aronson LLC (now Aprio LLP) as an audit manager and at the same time took on projects in the firm’s growing ERP practice. In pursuit of his passion, he moved over to the ERP practice full-time where he spent 22 years working with some of the area’s premier government contractors on Deltek ERP implementations, system consolidations, restructures and business intelligence initiatives. As the practice grew, John took on a practice leadership role for 9 of his 22 years with Aprio as a Partner / Director.
In addition to his tenure at Aprio, John spent 7 years as an independent, highly regarded subject-matter expert in Costpoint and Cognos BI, delivering strategic solutions to government contractors.
John graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and successfully passed the CPA Exam. He currently resides in the Tampa Bay area.
